Six Months of Movement: How Drofa Comms’ Corporate Sports Programme Is Transforming Team Culture

In September 2024, we launched a corporate sports programme in our company. For the past six months it has been helping employees become more active and more disciplined. During this time, we conducted 25 general training sessions and organised more than 5 challenges, where everyone could test their strength.

What Is the Effect of the Corporate Sports Programme?

The corporate sports programme was created with the support of the company’s founders. Today, it is aimed not only at improving physical health but also at developing team spirit. We have received a lot of positive feedback. Our employees note that regular workouts create a positive atmosphere and increase their job satisfaction level. The program takes into account different preferences: some people prefer yoga and stretching classes, while others enthusiastically join in strength trainings.

What’s Next?

  • Health Day once a month, which includes sports events, workshops and trainings.
  • Expansion of fitness programs. We are going to add pilates classes, and cardio and group workouts.
  • Seminars and lectures on healthy eating, mental health and physical activity. With the help of invited professionals, we are going to advance also theory and only practice.
  • An advanced reward system — prizes, certificates and even additional days off. We have already rewarded some of our active participants; however, we are going to expand the list.
  • We will continue to regularly collect feedback from employees about the corporate sports programme and make changes based on their suggestions and wishes.

Why Is It Important?

Beyond improving the health of the current employees, we are confident that such initiatives will make our company more attractive to new employees. Taking care of health is an important corporate value that is appreciated by applicants.

“The sports program is an opportunity to form a corporate culture where the well-being of our employees is a real priority. I am proud to see how classes help people get closer together, become energetic, which means they are more productive and happier both at work and in life,” says Valentina Drofa, CEO and Founder of Drofa Comms.
