For the past two years, the Drofa Comms team has been running interviews, podcast episodes, and events under the Women Leading the Way initiative. And through all of it, we noticed that women working in finance and fintech wanted a real space to connect. They want to ask questions, share what works, find people who understand the industry from the inside, and build meaningful relationships.
We heard it enough times to act on it.
We’re delighted to announce that Women Leading the Way is now a closed Telegram community for women working in finance, fintech, Web3, and crypto!
“Talking to hundreds of women from finance and fintech, I quickly realise how much impact they make in this industry — seriously, effectively, at scale. We created this community so each of them can find an ally, exchange experience, and grow stronger together.” — Maria Tunikova, Women Leading the Way project lead.
What The Community Is About?
This is a professional networking space built around real dialogue, peer exchange, and useful connections. This is neither a broadcast channel nor a group for marketing announcements. It’s a place where members actively participate, share experiences, and support each other’s growth in the industry.
The community is arranged around several dedicated spaces:
Introductions — a space to present yourself and browse who else is here.
Discussions — the main space for industry questions, cases, and professional dialogue.
Requests and connections — for requesting something specific.
Resources — useful links, articles, events worth knowing about.
Casual — everything else.
Members are also invited to join interviews, podcast appearances, and industry events run as part of the Women Leading the Way initiative.
Who Can Join?
The community is open to women working in finance, fintech, Web3, or crypto, regardless of their functions and levels. What matters is genuine, unique industry experience, an active current role or project, and an authentic interest in professional expertise exchange.
We are not looking for passive members. The value of the community depends directly on the people in it and how they show up.
We do not accept applications from PR agencies or communications consultants who work in the same market. This is a space for industry professionals, not for those selling services to them.
How to Join?
The community is closed and available to a narrow circle of participants, so every application is reviewed by hand. We reserve the right to decline applications without explanation. We form the group carefully — to keep the space close-knit, focused, and genuinely useful for everyone in it.
To apply, please follow these steps:

We built this community because many female experts asked us for it. We also believe that the best professional groups are the ones where the right people actually connect and talk to each other, creating strong bonds.
