Bringing Capital and Technology Together — Alla Zhedik of Next Generation NGPES

Women Leadership in Crypto and Blockchain: Alla Zhedik, NGPES

Today, money in traditional finance is surrounded by invisible walls of slow infrastructure. Blockchain and stablecoins have the potential to break down these old barriers and create new conditions for capital movement.

That was the idea the Drofa Comms team discussed with Alla Zhedik, VP Finance & Investment Group Next Generation, for the Women Leading the Way series.

Alla moved into stablecoins and digital payments after years of experience in traditional finance. In her interview, she shared what she felt after moving to crypto with two decades of experience in banks and explained the barriers women face in this developing area and the opportunities it offers. She also spoke about the defining moment of her career, which brought her understanding of what women leadership in crypto and blockchain is.

Other than that, she explains how the idea of changing the money architecture pushed her toward a new career. In Alla’s mind, blockchain payments is a much less rigid area, where results get visible quickly.

During the conversation, Alla offered advice for every woman in the field: “Find your community. Find other women, and allies in general, who can help you navigate the culture, decode the unwritten rules, and remind you that your perspective is exactly what this industry needs to mature.”

Her words particularly resonated with us, since this is exactly what the Women Leading the Way project is built for!
