Female Leaders Examine Fintech Industry in the New Interview Series by Drofa Comms

Drofa Comms, a PR firm for finance and fintech, launched a special magazine to encourage women to embrace their potential in fintech. The interview series “Women Leading the Way” offers insights from female leaders in fintech, shedding light on industry challenges in diversity and inclusivity.

The Drofa Comms team spoke with 11 female entrepreneurs and managers from fintech companies based at Rise, created by Barclays in London. Topics range from leadership in male-dominated settings to views on diversity and inclusion in fintech.

Interviewees highlighted a lack of women in IT and finance roles in fintech due to the absence of role models for young girls, leading to limited access to relevant education. They emphasised the importance of self-confidence and assertiveness, noting the positive impact of diverse management teams on business success.
