Women Leading the Way has launched a new LATAM special project focused on the women shaping Web3 in Brazil and the region’s rapidly developing digital finance market!
Created as part of Women Leading the Way’s wider mission, the project brings together seven in-depth interviews with female leaders working across blockchain infrastructure, regulation, public policy, communications, tokenisation, AI and digital assets.
The interviews were conducted by Graziella Cardeal, LATAM Market PR Lead at Drofa Comms. This follows the team’s work and presence in the region, including Blockchain.RIO 2026.
Seven Women Shaping Web3 in Brazil
The LATAM special project features Melanie Steiner, Regional Director LATAM at Ondo Finance; Solange Gueiros, DevRel Education Manager at Chainlink Labs and Co-Founder of ETHSamba; Heloiza Canassa, PR Director for Brazil at Binance; Julia Rosin, Head of Public Policy at Coinbase and President of ABCripto; Anna Lucia Berardinelli Castello Branco, Founding President of the Brazil Chapter of the Association for Women in Cryptocurrency; Marina Fuzeti Fagali, Director at Juntos por Cripto; and Ivana Rocha, IBM Technology Leader and Founder of AI mental health platform iVA.
Together, their experience covers some of the areas shaping the next stage of Brazil’s Web3 market. They span digital asset infrastructure and tokenisation to regulation, communications, public policy and AI.
What the LATAM Special Project Reveals About Brazil’s Web3 Market
Throughout the seven conversations, the speakers discuss some of the main questions defining Web3 in Brazil and LATAM today. They include what drives technology adoption, how to build financial trust, which infrastructure institutions need, and how regulation is developing. One of the common threads across all interviews is the question of why representation still matters in decision-making roles.
Alongside the individual interviews, Women Leading the Way has published a long-form feature. It brings all seven perspectives together and examines what Web3 market maturity in Brazil looks like in practice.
The LATAM special project continues Women Leading the Way’s work to give experienced women a stronger voice in the conversations shaping the future of finance and technology.
